Featured Young Athlete

Emily has been playing softball since she was 7 years old. Emily told us, "Softball has been the one consistent thing in my life that i can always count on and it has shaped me into the person I am today."

Her goal has always to be able to play at the next level. Her recruiting process has been everything but easy. During her first few games of her sophomore year she suffered a knee injury that would ultimately cause her to miss my entire season. After finally recovering, she was ready in time to hit the field for her junior season.

During the 3rd game of the season, she got into a collision that resulted in an ankle injury that led to surgery and cost her her junior season as well. She is now a senior getting ready to start her season and she is excited to say that she was finally given the opportunity to play college softball

Emily was 10 years old when she first joined Coach Reggie's strength and conditioning program and since then he has been able to help Emily through all aspects of the game, both mentally and physically. Throughout her recovery process, Reggie's program has allowed her to regain full confidence in herself. Moreover, she is finally ale to hit the field again.

Coach Reggie

Founder & Partner

Coach Reggie Rusk played football for the University of Kentucky and continued his football career as a NFL cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Reggie Learned early what it takes to become successful. He knows first-hand what a disadvantage it can be to not have the proper information and resources. Lacking the proper NCAA requirements, he was forced to go to the junior college route prior to playing at UK, but determination, commitment, and an open mind helped him succeed before, during and after pro sports. Reggie has been assisting young students for the past 12 years, giving them instruction on how to be successful on and off the field. He has helped so many athletes reach their fullest potential, many of them attending universities such as Texas, Texas A&M, Houston Baptist, Texas state, Kingsville Texas, ETBU, Mc Neese Univ, North Western, Notre Dame, Univ of Houston, Navy, Air Force not to mention, multiple smaller universities and junior colleges.

Coach Reggie is a former student-athlete and graduate of the Univ of Kentucky. After watching numerous athletes lose opportunities due to failing grades, low SAT/ACT scores, and lack of recruiting awareness, Coach Reggie's mission is to turn dreams into reality by helping student-athletes better prepare themselves physically, academically, and mentally. Play for success has aliened with many athletes, business owners, professionals in the community in order to create a realistic picture for students of every background.
